I want to offer a deep, heartfelt thank you to all of you.

I want to do more than thank you. I want to extend the invitation to all of you to reach out to me any time, now or over the next two years. We are all busy, and as I will be holding this position for the first time, I want to remind you that you can help me do the job that you want me to do. From the number of emails and invitations I have already gotten, I can tell that however much work the campaign was (which was a lot!), holding office will be even more intensive - as it should be. That said, I want to make sure I am maintaining open ears and open lines of communication with you, and that you help me keep the issues that matter to you on the front burner. Of course, I am passionate about housing and zoning and how they affect our city, but there are many, many other issues I learned about knocking on doors, and they are important too. If you are involved, you can add to the quality of the solutions we produce as busy people trying to find the time to be truly thoughtful about this place we all call home.
