Housing

Housing

Whatever your reason for living here, I want to help you stay. Portsmouth should be fighting to retain its highly talented workforce, its seniors, its young professionals, its families. Our diversity is our key to resiliency and future economic success. I have been working tirelessly since I got elected to pass zoning changes, and we are on the verge of success! These zoning changes would redevelop our strip malls into beautiful mixed use plazas - centers of activity that create new destinations in the City.

Opening the Door: Faces of Portsmouth Housing

Earlier this Summer I collaborated with the Portsmouth Herald to run a bi-weekly series of profiles of individuals affected by the shortage of affordable and workforce housing in Portsmouth. I hope some of these profiles are people you recognize or expected, and some are a surprise, or make you think about this issue in some new ways.
